Two Boys with One Heart
Which is fail: living an angry life or feeling jilted? Most people would choose the obvious, which is avoiding the feeling of rejection. However, it would really play on each persons situation handle in the two short stories Catch the Moon by Judith Ortiz Cofer and The Bass, the River, and Sheila Mant by W.D Wetherell. In Catch the Moon, Luis is a riotous boy whose catchs death haunts his present. In baffle to ignore the pain, he puts himself in danger and rebels against the law. All that changes when he meets Naomi, who has gone to him to find a hubcap for her car. His interest in Naomi begins to maturation and his motivation to imprinting her keeps him out of trouble, finally overriding his angry past. In The Bass, the River, and Sheila Mant the boy has a deep crush on Sheila Mant and decides to affect her out. During the events of their date, there comes a time where the boy mustiness declare a decision between a sea bass or Sheila, knowing that Sheila finds fishing boring and he wants to impress her. In the end, he follows his heart, only to realize Sheilas rejection and omit his hobbys prize of a huge bass.

Although love and rejection are the main focus in both short stories, each has its throw theme to label it. In Catch the Moon, the central theme is Dealing with hardships brings you happiness.
