English 10A Honors Community Speech
During the course of the semester you are required to return a speech WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. Here are almost options that you might consider:
* Speaking to an organized group at a church
* Presenting a formal presentation along with a Key Club project
* Speaking to a middle or grade school class on a grade-appropriate topic
* lead story a Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts meeting
* Speaking to a civil group (Rotary, Kiwanis, etc.)
* Presenting a position to board (School Board, Wilson Center, etc.)
* conduct / presenting a topic at Senior Center
These are hardly a few trialples. If you have other ideas, bounce them polish off the teacher.

Note:
* Any other class as star signment DOES not EARN CREDIT for this assignment.
* You may not recycle one(a) of your class speeches to use for this purpose.
* A family gathering / reunion DOES non EARN CREDIT for this assignment.
* This speech cannot be done with some other student / individual. It must be done on your own.
* A family member / parent cannot be your coordinator / evaluator
* Audience size should be at least 20 people (as anticipated by the coordinator)
* The length of your presentation should be at least quintuple minutes.




* To give your presentation during the school day, you must first submit permission from your teacher, and then have your parent excuse you with a note to attendance. In order to avoid having a workable exam exemption issue, have your speech teacher sign the note, as well. This absence WILL NOT count against you for exam exemptions if you do this.
